Located in the heart of the demarcated Douro region, the Morgadio da Calçada is one of 13 manor houses in Provesende that tell the story of the great Port wine producers. Surrounded by terraces planted with vines and olive trees, the Casa da Calçada offers a comfortable and refined journey back to the 17th century
Modernity
Recovering the spaces of the old stables and agricultural warehouses of the farm, Morgadio da Calçada has eight rooms that, in contrast with the old manor house from the 17th century, offer all the comfort of the 21st century to the visitors of the house, either in the sunny summer days or in the cold winter nights

At Morgadio da Calçada, the value is in the detail. From the embroidered sheets to the colors of the rooms or the colorful ceilings, the identity of the house is present in everything.
